You can now pay your bill online at pay.southmarengo.com – you will need your account number and last name as it appears on the account.
You can download the app called EyeOnWater to see your water usage.
If you want to use water only a couple of months out of the year we will refund your meter deposit and close out your account. To be reinstated, you will pay a new meter deposit (owner $100.00, rental $200.00) plus a $100.00 connection fee. If you choose to lock your meter, you will continue to get a monthly bill.
The system implemented a meter change out program during the summer of 2020. An automated meter reading system was installed at every service point in use at the time. Every meter box is equipped with an AMR endpoint which is attached to the lid of the meter box. Care should be taken when maneuvering around the meter box and lid with any type of machinery such as a lawn mower or other vehicles. This equipment is expensive to replace and any damages to a meter box, encoder, or meter housing will result in charges to the customer for any replacement parts needed. Any charges would be based on the current pricing information including parts, labor and mileage. We encourage each customer to take great care when moving near or burning debris near your water meter.
